Jellix – The Foundation of Your Industrial Connectivity
Jellix is an IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) platform designed for the interconnectivity of industrial assets. Its primary objective is to simplify the integration of heterogeneous components and to interlink industrial data, making them usable across a wide range of use cases. Technology
Machines, measuring devices, goods management and purchasing all generate data, but how can you extract valuable information from this data in order to optimise company processes? With Jellix, Brütsch/Rüegger Tools offers an Industry 4.0 platform that allows commercial value to be generated from a wide range of technical and business data. For example, Jellix makes all relevant data from the production process available in real time on a mobile device or PC.
In this way, relevant key data from the production process, such as machine utilisation or OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) is displayed automatically in real time. The standardised graphical representation allows users to identify critical events immediately, which in turn enables a rapid response and resolution, thereby increasing efficiency.
A Solid Foundation for the Smart Factory
The Jellix architecture is based on a clear and structured approach with three levels of integration:
1. Connectivity
The first level focuses on connecting machines, sensors and industrial equipment. Jellix relies on existing technologies and manufacturer-supported standards, ensuring compatibility, reliability and long-term viability.

2. Data Correlation and Structuring
The second level aims to structure, contextualise and interlink the collected data.
Jellix leverages high-performance databases capable of handling very large data volumes, comparable to big data architectures. These solutions are proven in production environments with more than 1,000 machines, ensuring robustness and scalability.
At this stage, data becomes consistent, reliable and ready for exploitation.
3. Data Exploitation
The third level focuses on exploiting data through business applications. Jellix fully covers levels 1 and 2, while level 3 is handled by the HIVE Digital Suite, which enables data visualisation, analysis and utilisation through dedicated industrial applications.
