Why calibrate?
The main reasons for calibrating a measuring instrument:
- To guarantee that the readings carried out by a device correspond to the actual conditions
- To determine the accuracy of the readings carried out
- To determine the reliability of the device; in other words, whether and to what extent we can depend on the reliability of a result
In line with the standard ISO 9000, measuring instruments must be checked and calibrated regularly.
Our partner, Metron Measurement SA, is the largest and most modern SCS-accredited calibration laboratory in Switzerland. Metron Measurement SA ensures the highest degree of reliability and, with its experienced team, it offers extensive and expert calibration and repair services, which are processed quickly.
It carries out numerous calibrations every day. Standard calibrations require a maximum of 4–5 working days, while express orders can be processed within 48 hours.
